During the first quarter of 2024, the top 5 music and podcasts applications on the Android platform in Russia showcased varying performance trends in terms of downloads and active users. Here’s a closer look at the data provided by Sensor Tower.

Yandex Music, Books & Podcasts saw a steady decline in weekly downloads from 134.8K in early January to 88.9K by the end of March. Despite this, the app maintained strong user engagement with weekly active users rising from 12M to over 13.2M throughout the quarter.

Shazam: Find Music & Concerts experienced a fluctuating download trend, starting at 81.6K in the first week of January and peaking at 80.3K in the last week of March. Active users, however, saw a slight downward trend from 2.4M to 2.37M over the same period.
